  • Egan Valuers’ Upgrade Complete

    Computing Australia has completed a month long project to upgrade and modernise the server infrastructure at Egan National Valuers (WA).

    Egan National Valuers have been providing a complete range of valuation and property consultancy services to the Australian market for over 30 years and have branches throughout Australia and New Zealand.

    Along with delivering a new server and network infrastructure CA were also responsible for modernising and redesigning the Egan property valuation software database.

    The newly designed network now allows staff to work both remotely and in the field to increase productivity.

    The project implementation team were able to deliver the new system to the client with zero downtime to the business.

    Projects Manager Andrew Taylor said “the goal of my team is to ensure the client’s business is not impacted during the implementation phase. Rollouts of this nature are generally conducted out of normal hours. My aim is to have the client return to work after a weekend and find everything working and that their business suffers no downtime. If that means our team works 24/7 over a weekend – we do it.”

  • Matrix give CA the nod

    Computing Australia were proud to be selected to provide IT consulting services for Matrix Composites and Engineering a newly listed company on the ASX.

    Although a new listing the company has many, many years of operating as a leading private company in its fields of endeavour.
    Matrix Composites & Engineering is a leading Australian manufacturer of critical engineered products for the offshore, subsea, mining and defence industries.

    Computing Australia have been chosen to provide consulting and planning services for the coming relocation and expansion to Henderson.

    Our technical services team also administer their day to day IT needs.

    CA’s CTO and lead consultant in this project – Joey Chan explains – “When an existing company like Matrix C & E undertake rapid expansion as they have during the company listing on the stock exchange – there are many issues to take into account. As the company resizes there is an influx of new staff – all requiring the right technology tools to do their job.   • SPF partner with CA for extranet

    Stainless Pipes and Fittings Australia have chosen to partner with Computing Australia to develop and enhance a custom extranet solution to suit the unique needs of their company and industry.

    SPF is the largest stockholder of stainless steel piping in the Southern Hemisphere, specialising in the supply of higher exotic materials.

    SPF’s stock range comprises more than 18,000 in-demand product lines valued in excess of US$35 million. In addition to being a specialist stockist, SPF is also a leading indent and project supplier.

    Computing Australia determined the Drupal platform to be the most appropriate base to build the SPF extranet solution on.

    Our team specialise in rapid software development and have been able to deliver a functioning application for the company to work in while at the same time extending and developing further modules as the company’s needs expand.
